I just love photography

It is almost midnight and this doesn't totally pertain to my road to Florence. However, I just finished developing my latest film and it turned out truly wonderful! I really cannot wait to be buying my "baby" or my Canon Rebel Xsi!! I only have about a week left to wait til my loan comes through and I will finally be digital, professionally that is. I do not consider my Coolpix digital camera anywhere in the neighborhood at all of my soon to be camera. AHH! So, I will be sharing my photography as well :) I am anticipating the development of my craft and skill as time goes on, especially what skills I learn in Italy too. Tomorrow morning darkroom printing. So earrllly, but so worth it. I love the moment I place my paper into the developing tank and the image appears out of nowhere, just like magic! It never ceases to amaze me.

And just to share, my new photography facilities at the Florence University of the Arts

European Film Fantasy

It is killing me to watch some of my favorite movies which contain either trips to Italy or are set there, even anywhere in Europe is making me ache to be in Florence already.
The excitement and anticipation are almost too much. I want to speed up time, yet half the fun of my trip will be the journey there. The struggle, triumph, hard work; all worth it.

Next movie for the night-Under the Tuscan Sun

Favorite Italian based movies-
Eat, Pray, Love- such an inspiring story. I almost convinced myself I needed to take serious drastic measures and just immediately take off for Italy on my own after this.
The Italian Job-just fantastic. And yummmmm Mark Wahlberg!!
Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade-do I really have to say anything?

Favorite European movies (not my foreign film category)
Vicki Christina Barcelona-favorite movie ever! Not only is the cast one of the hottest EVER, it also has wonderful music, a seriously interesting love plot and its just saucy. Great flick to watch and enjoy wine with.
The Holiday-Probably the cutest movie possibly ever. I could watch this on repeat a million times and never get tired of it. In love with Mr. Napkin head.
In Bruges-Brilliant
P.S. I love you-I will be finding an Irishman while traveling around Europe haha.
Leap Year-again, i really will be finding my Irish, husband on this trip, preferrably one with an "orgasmic" voice to boot.
oh so many...

So I've got a few apartment option pictures...

(kinda obsessed with these 4)
